- Visual observation, photographs and recording in video of artificial satellites (ISS, Mir, Iridium...).
- Reception by radio of the signals of the satellites that transmit with the APT image system.
- Watching the construction of ISS (International Space Station).
- Seeing how run the planetary missions for the popular spreading.
- Development of the rocketing models and payloads.

    We are preparing dossiers on each one of these facets, at the moment we showed a graphical memory of our activities in the field of rocketing models.

    The Promo project began to be developed in 1990 in the Sociedad Astronómica Asturiana OMEGA (Asturian Astronomic Society OMEGA) with the objective to introduce themselves and to acquire experience in the facet of the rocketing models. It is one of the projects of the Astronautic Section along with Seguisat project for the electronic and visual pursuit of artificial satellites. Until the moment 13 firings of rockets have taken place, being all of them, except for some exception, great successes. The last flight corresponded to the flight with the first developed photographic payload in OMEGA obtaining the two first air photographs. Although we designed our own models, at this moment we've developed a new model, Titan IVb. The decision to develop this American rocket is by similarity, since our designs use three equal rockets in parallel.

    Our models use the charges of the North American company Estes to the being first that we have acquired in Spain and by the excellent results that they are giving us besides to easily adapt to our designs and necessities. In Spain, the sport facet of the rocketing models is governed, within the branch of the aeromodelling, by members of the Federación Nacional de los Deportes Aéreos (FENDA) (National Federation of Aerial Sports (FENDA)). In fact, the rocketing modellers of our country (several of which they have harvested successes in European and world-wide championships) usually are in clubs of sporting rocketing models except in our case, that we made this activity in an astronomical association, in addition to being of experimental and nonsport type. Although it makes enough years an astronomical association of Barcelona had rocketing model section, at the moment our Astronomical Society is the only one in the country that develops models of rockets.
